Royal Canin is a proud sponsor of DockDogs®, a dock jumping and dock diving performance sport association. If you've seen DockDogs® events on TV or in person, you know it takes better-than-your-average-dog athleticism to compete in events like Big Air™ and Extreme Vertical™ and Speed Retrieve™. Royal Canin is proud to provide precise nutrition for these competitors. With Labrador Retrievers and Golden Retrievers composing the majority of the DockDogs participants, Royal Canin has a customized nutritional program for most of the competitors with its Labrador Retriever 30™ and Golden Retriever 25™ formulas.

“Within a few weeks I could totally tell a difference in not just their energy, but in…everything about them. It’s like they
were three or four years younger!”

Personal Best: 24' 6". Personal Favorite: Royal Canin
I feed my two year old Golden Retriever, Shannon, Royal Canin Golden Retriever 25™ exclusively to maintain the energy and drive that makes her one of the longest DockDogs jumping Golden Retrievers in the country today. With all her swimming and pool time, feeding a food made especially for Golden Retrievers helps to protect her soft golden coat and sensitive skin. And because Shannon tends to gulp her food, the size of the Golden Retriever 25 kibble slows her down and helps to prevent bloat.
Big Air dock jump training and competitions requires healthy joints and strong muscles...making sure Shannon maintains a healthy weight while getting all her dietary essentials is my job...jumping big is her job. Feeding Royal Canin Golden Retriever 25™ makes it easier for both of us.

Crazy about DockDogs and Royal Canin
After experimenting with several other dog food brands, I have found that Royal Canin is definitely the best fit for my three year old Goldendoodle (Golden Retriever/ Standard Poodle cross) Charley Sprocket.
Charley has been participating in Dockdogs for about two years now and he is crazy about the sport.
In addition to competing in over a dozen Dock Dogs competitions each year, Charley also participates in agility. Royal Canin food gives this K9 athlete the nutrition he needs to perform at his maximum capacity. Charley has a tremendous amount of energy whether it be on the dock or on the agility course.
Charley had always been a picky eater until I started feeding him Royal Canin Golden Retriever 25™ formula. Charley really likes his food now and will actually eat his full serving in one sitting (this is something he never did with the other brands that I have fed him.) Because the pieces of kibble are large shaped, he chews every bite and therefore everything digests much easier. Good digestion is very important since he is bouncing around all of the time.
We love the Royal Canin!

Seven Year Old "Iron Dog"
My chocolate lab, Nestle, is seven years old and maintains a lean competitive weight. Royal Canin Labrador Retriever 30™ has helped him to still remain competitive in DockDogs events. He is Master titled in Big Air and consistently jumps over 20 feet. He also competes in speed retrieve and extreme vertical. DockDogs implemented Iron Dog in 2008 to challenge the fitness, skill and metal focus of the dogs that compete in all three disciplines in one event. Nestle is one of the top Iron Dogs in the nation. A planned and progressive training regiment coupled with good nutrition provided by Royal Canin has helped Nestle become one of the best all around competitors in DockDogs.
